OUR DAILY REFLECTION WITH GOD
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2025TOPIC: ECONOMICAL TRUTHTEXT: KEY VERSE: “So I tell dem, ‘Anybody wey get gold make e bring am kom.’ Wen dem give mi, I melt am and di gold kon turn to dis melu.” -Exodus 32:24(NPB) While swearing in the law court you’ll hear something like “I swear by Almighty God that the evidence I shall give shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth,” even though many end up still giving false evidence and tell lies in the process. I’ve grown up to see people say all manner of lies, telling half truth and giving it all sorts of names to make it sound palatable to the hearers, some have given lies different names so that it can become a popular opinion. What ever truth needs to be spoken must be “the whole truth”Aaron tried to maneuver his way through while being interrogated by Moses. You know when you become economical with truth it makes you appear foolish, it makes you feel everyone else especially your listeners can not decide the lies that you are dishing out. Imagine Aaron telling Moses when the gold Jewelries where cast into the fire the moulded calf came out of it, looking at this statement of Aaron from different biblical versions I understood it to meant literally. Regardless of whom you are where truth is needed, it must be given you can’t afford to be economical with truth. Let’s have this in mind, what ever we do or say must be seasoned with generous truth, don’t paint truth just to cover up some flaws in our life, say it the way it is. *PRAY WITH ME* Dear loving Father I come helpless this day asking for strength to always speak the truth and stand by it in Jesus name, amen *#Pentecostalive*
