TOPIC: THE MIND OF THE LORD

TEXT: Philippians 2:5-13

KEY VERSE: “Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]” -Philippians 2:5

Do you still remember from the scriptures that the name Christian was not actually adopted by the believers as a name because they wanted to be addressed that way(Acts 11:26) but it was rather because of the life style of the believers.

In today’s world you if ask a person “are you a Christian” he will reply “yes I am” but when you will expect to see the fruit of a Christian in such a brother, it will be no where to found, Paul said “Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus” this simply means before you do a thing you’ll first as yourself “would Christ do this if He was here” that would go a long way to help you on this journey.

As we reflect on this word today, are you still worthy of the name Christian? is our Lord proud of you as His representative? Jesus is looking to see the fruit of His examples in us as faithful stewards.
