TOPIC: FATHER WITH EXAMPLE
TEXT: GENESIS 18:17-19
KEY VERSE: “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment;……….. “
Genesis 18:19

One day I came across a family who where living in grieve and disappointment in their father’s way of life, he lived a double life style, he is seen as a role model when he went out but when he comes home he becomes more like an infidel, he doesn’t provide for the home, leaves most of the expenses of the home on his wife even he has the money, he wouldn’t say a thing and honor it, because of these the children see their mother as their heroine, It was so bad that one of the child said she would change her surname if she had her way.
What would have pushed it to this limit?

God issued a seal of approval on Abraham as a father who will lead by example even when he had not had Isaac, declaring him to be a father who would lead by example, and they shall in that way keep the way of the Lord.

What is the Lord saying about you whether as a father, future parent or guardian, can the He say “I know this one he will be a positive example to his offspring,”
Know this your children are looking up to you, what you portray outdoor should show indoor.

Heavenly Lord help me to be an example and not a disappointment in Jesus name, amen.
