TOPIC: HE PAID IT ALL
TEXT: COLOSSIANS 2:14-16
KEY VERSE: “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
~Colossians 2:14
The act of paying of the debts of others is no ordinary act but it’s divine, Jesus blotted the sins of that woman caught in adultery when He asked anyone without sin should pick up the first stone, what an amazing way to dismiss those blood tasty accusers.
Imagine when u think all hopes where lost, then you see the unexpected happens.
We become sinners not because we’ve committed sin, but because it’s in our nature, but Jesus has blotted out the handwriting of ordinance that had been speaking against us by nailing it to the cross and made sure it was for all eyes to see through His shameful death on the cross. And because of this no man has right to condemn us.
Jesus’ death on the cross has spoiled principalities and powers, therefore the righteousness we now have is actually not our making, but it’s the result of the open shew by the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.
Hallelujah He had paid it all and proclaimed us debt free!
PRAY WITH ME
Dear heavenly Father thank you for settling our debts through your Son Jeaus Christ, help me to understand and key in to the finished work on the cross that I will always dwell in your righteousness, in Jesus name.
