TOPIC: GOD THAT INSTRUCTS
TEXT: JOSHUA 1: 1-9
KEY VERSE: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Joshua 1:8

One would have thought that Joshua would not find it difficult to settle down after the Moses era, it would have been safe to say that Joshua had known too much considering his time with Moses, his days of consecration on the mountains with Moses, by assumption we would have safely said that he had the best instructions from a patriarch like Moses, but we see in our our devotional text today how God had to speak with Joshua about what will make him thrive in his journey.

If we need to maximize the usage of a product we’ll always refer to the manufacturers manual therefore each day that comes by we must of a necessity go back to the Lord expecting instructions for every matter that will confront our each day because there’s so much that is expected of us from God and from men.
