OUR DAILY REFLECTION WITH GOD

OUR DAILY REFLECTION WITH GOD
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2025
TOPIC: GOD, OUR SERVANT?
TEXT: MARK 10:35-45
KEY VERSE: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve. . . .”
Mark 10:45

As we reflect on today’s text, the topic might seem controversial and like a question of uncertainty but let’s give a careful look at the activities of God.

You’ll notice that despite being LORD over all He still Stooped down to serve the ones He created, beginning from Genesis after creation He took care of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, and from that point God served the world in various ways as he connects events, seasons, times, places and men to usher in our Saviour and Redeemer and when the Lord Jesus came He told us while the Gentiles would exercise authority and lordship over their subject He came to serve. This He told His disciples when He noticed all they cared for was positions, chief sits and who would be more preferred.

If Jesus did not come to be served but that He will serve, how does that affect our daily routine? How should it affect the way we live?

PRAY WITH ME

Heavenly Father and LORD you’ve shown us the more perfect way of service, now I our cry is that you will help us put off that which will distract us away from following in your steps, amen.
