TOPIC: JESUS, OUR EXAMPLE
TEXT: Mark 10:36-45
KEY VERSE: “And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? “

Imagine having a boss who is so wealthy and he ask’s you “what do you want me to do for you” what would be your feeling at that point? and what would be your response? It’s a sure bet that your response would certainly reflect your priority for being with him all along.

This was the case of the disciples of Jesus, that question brought to light their inner desires and craving.
It meant that all this while they have been following the master their cravings have been the lust for being lord over the rest of the brethren, but it had been kept in silence.
But Jesus had a different plan to what they had, the kingdom He was establishing was to be promoted by people who would serve and not lords.

What is your priority for leadership? while you are ready to drink of the cup of our Lord Jesus, can you also take upon you His humility and serve?
I’ll tell you where your priority should be, ” IN JESUS OUR EXAMPLE”
